Helping to Address Dog Fouling in Clane

Motion

That as part of the challenge of addressing a problem of increased dog fouling in public areas in Clane, that;
- the council examine the possibility of installing a dog-fouling bin on the Relief Road (Clane Tidy Towns have indicated their willingness to maintain a bin)
- that some of the missing anti-fouling signage be restored
- that the dog warden/litter warden be advised of the issue and be requested to target the area to encourage compliance.

 Report

The provision of a bin will be considered.The proposal will be costed (sign, pole etc.) and the location examined and anti-fouling replacement signage will be provided.
