General Road Repairs

Motion

That the council repair road surfaces at; 

a) The roads from The Stores, Hodgestown to Staplestown, including the ramps, in advance of the annual series of charity dualathon races that are held in 2014 on 12th July, 23rd August and 20th September 
b) The R407 Kilcock Road between Clane and Loughbollard where a backfilled utility trench has become dangerous for cyclists and vehicles 
c) The L10231 at Crocán which impedes a wheelchair user crossing from nearby housing 
d) The back lane of houses (details supplied) St Bridget's Terrace, Clane to enable access following damage by bin lorries.

a/ Both the Donadea Wheelers and the Clane Gardai have contacted the Clane Area Office in this regard.
Both parties were informed that maintenance of the route will be undertaken in advance of all of the duathlon races;

b/, c/ and d/ All three requests have been included in the current programme of works to be undertaken by the Area Office.
