Completion of the Collegewood Manor Estate
Clane Area Committee Meeting
13 November 2012
Councillor Pádraig McEvoy
Can the council provide an update on attempts to get the road surface repaired and completed in Collegewood Manor, Clane in order that it be taken in charge?
Before the final wearing course macadam can be laid, the Council needs to be satisfied that the services (public foul and storm sewers) laid in the road are working satisfactorily. The CCTV surveys of the public sewers submitted have been reviewed and while those submitted indicate that the sewers are working satisfactorily, there are gaps in the survey. Building Control staff met with the agent for the developer of Collegewood Manor, Clane on 16 October 2012 to review the CCTV surveys and discuss the completion of the estate. The agent agreed to have the CCTV survey completed with a view to completing the wearing course macadam when the Council is satisfied that the public sewers in the road are working satisfactorily. The CCTV survey has not been resubmitted.
That the committee be kept informed of progress on a regular basis.
